Tesso-tecno Green stands on the idea of involving communities with low resources in the manufacturing, instalment and maintenance of solar water heaters.
A hot shower may seem to be the standard for many of us, nonetheless, large numbers of people from disadvantaged communities cannot heat their water up or lack the resources to do so. Many have no access to natural gas or use other unsustainable fuels such as firewood, kerosene, paper, etc. The reason why low-income communities turn to non-renewable resources is mainly due to the higher costs of ecological technologies as well as lack of awareness and training about alternative methods.
This is where Tesso-tecno Green comes in to provide disadvantaged families with an easy way to introduce solar energy into their homes. The solar water heater (TESSO) is the development of several years of work and study of the problems that occur in similar equipment installed in family homes. Tesso was created mainly under 4 premises: Low Cost, Durable, Good Performance and Simple to Assemble. Tesso is innovative with rubber and plastic components that resist UV rays, high temperatures and other impacts. In addition, it resists frost, overheating, hail, stones, hard water, pressure and does not oxidize. Its aluminium profiles avoid welding, folding galvanized sheets and it is easy to pack and transport. For all this, its manufacture and installation is very simple and does not require highly qualified personnel.
