DigiEduHack 2021 Winners
Combining the climate concerns of agriculture, land use, digital transformation and education in one effective solution is not an easy task. This is exactly what we challenged the participants of DigiEduHack to do together with the support of our coaches.
Given that we hosted this hackathon in 7 different countries in Latin America and Europe, we were excited to present a strong count of nominees to the Global Finals and our teams did not disappoint. Please pause for a moment and turn your attention to our winners in each country:
Italy - TERROIR FROM SPACE
Alessandro, Manuel and Paul
Portugal - BARE NATIVE
Abi, Paddy, Katie, Shane, Vincenzo and Peter
Switzerland - O-GROW
Amani, Akeel and Sanjana
Spain - EDUFARM
Michelle and Rebeca
Argentina - SOLAR DRYERS
Gustavo, Diego, Marcelo and Sheila
Peru - ECOPACHA BOT
Eugenia, Marianne, Joel and Cinthia
Uruguay - AGROFOOD
Rohit, Saahil, Bhavin and Ruchika
All these teams have found a cleantech solution to our challenge and therefore they deserve to be nominated to the Global Finals of DigiEduHack. They now enter the selection process from the European Commission and if the EC chooses them they will proceed to the public vote stage. These selected teams will no longer be judged by an expert jury, but rather by a national public vote. The ones who gain the strongest support from their fellow citizens will receive the exciting prizes as well as the chance to pitch their solution to Mariya Gabriel, the European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth.
Good luck to all the winners and everybody who participated in our second edition of DigiEduHack!
