During our very first edition of Climathon we set 4 challenges for innovators from Argentina and Uruguay:

Challenge 1: Car-free city now!

Challenge 2: Develop circular management systems to avoid waste.

Challenge 3: Create districts and habits of renewable energy use.

Challenge 4: Develop regenerative agriculture together.

We held the first day of the 2020 Climathon on Thursday the 10th of December with a warm-up session. During our first day, we introduced the programme and gave a presentation on our challenges. After providing all the essential information we could move into the second day of the Climathon.

On the 11th of December, we opened the platform early in the morning and immediately got into forming the teams. The programme on Friday included seminars such as Pitch Briefing, Comprehension Phase, Investigation Phase, Mindfulness-Creativity, Ideation Phase, workshop on Circular Business Modelling, workshop on presenting the pitch and Mindfulness-Relaxation.

The Sunday’s programme followed with a Business Plan Modelling Phase, Final Refinement, Pitch Practice with coaches and Mindfulness-Stress Management session. Finally, at 2 pm the Festival of Ideas started and all pitches were presented to the jury.

During the 2020 Climathon organized by Circular Influence, there were 3 winners selected for all challenges:

DIMIGAS - Winner of Challenge 2: Develop circular management systems to avoid waste.

ABRIGA - Winner of Challenge 3: Create districts and habits of renewable energy use and Challenge 4: Develop regenerative agriculture together.
