Circular Influence does not only organize Climate Launchpad for Latin American countries but we have a presence in Europe too. In 2021, we added Italy to our sphere of activity and we brought three local teams to represent us at the European Regionals.
On the 28th of September, Europe selected the region’s best and brightest cleantech startups. The ClimateLaunchpad stage welcomed 30 teams from 10 countries and 3 of these teams represented Circular Influence.
The European Startups competed in seven Themes: Adaptation & Resilience, Circular Economies, Urban Solutions, Clean Energy, Sustainable Mobility, Food Systems, The Next Big Thing. The pitching of all these incredible innovators lasted 8 hours and by the evening the winners were confirmed. We nominated 3 Italian themes: BARE NATIVE (Food Systems), TERROIR FROM SPACE (Adaptation & Resilience) and ECODIGINSECT (The Next Big Thing).
We are honoured to announce that 2 of our Italian teams, BARE NATIVE and ECODIGINSECT, entering under the theme of Food Systems, have won to participate in the Global Grand Final. Together with our Latin American Teams, we are sending 7 teams this year to this worldwide competition. We are beyond excited to see their final pitches and share their successes, good luck to all!
