AGENDA

  • DigiEduHack Hackaton: November 2022

DigiEduHack is an opportunity for anyone in the world to solve pending digital education issues.

Coders and non-coders, beginners and experienced educators, citizens from anywhere in the world: you can make change happen in digital education. We are looking for ideas and solutions to solve digital education challenges, in Europe and beyond.

Circular Influence is a Community Knowledge and Innovation Platform that works to accelerate the transition to a carbon-free circular economy, based on systemic thinking and actions and applying the stages of Design Thinking with our programs to achieve a positive and sustainable global impact, synergies between Latin America and Europe.

Circular Influence is hosting the hackaton for Argentina, Uruguay, Peru, Portugal, Spain, Italy & Switzerland, but anyone from anywhere can join in. We have been working together with DigiEduHack and EIT Climate-KIC to promote digital education solutions since 2020.

MAKE CHANGE HAPPEN

DigiEduHack is not a usual hackathon. It's not about the money. It's not about the prizes. DigiEduHack is all about the impact that you can create. You have the power to make change happen, to fix pending issues and to improve the lives of learners and educators everywhere.

LEAVE YOUR MARK

We are looking for changemakers, pioneers, forward-thinkers, dreamers, doers, to create a more sustainable world in digital education. You can make a difference. Come on in!

DEMONSTRATE YOUR VALUES GLOBALLY AND LOCALLY

DigiEduHack gives you the opportunity the show your best to the community, both locally and globally: by taking part in a DigiEduHack challenge, you show your commitment to building a better world.

DigiEduHack is free, inclusive, sustainable and open to all: choose an open challenge, register on digieduhack.com and take part online or in-person on November 2022 (date TBD). After the event, a challenge winner is designated by each challenge-owner. All the challenge-winning solutions are then assessed by the DigiEduHack steering group, which designate 10 to 12 finalists. The finalists are put up for a public vote. The 3 finalists with the most votes become the DigiEduHack 2022 Global Award winners.

Anyone can apply to be a participant. Your city might have chosen specific target groups (eg: students, entrepreneurs, etc) – this information will be available on the city page.

In general, we are looking for:

  • Intra/entrepreneurs
  • Students and researchers
  • Tech developers
  • Policymakers and influencers
  • Professionals and experts

The three DigiEduHack 2021 Global Award winning teams will each get 5000€ and their members will be nominated DigiEduHack Global Ambassadors for a year. The three DigiEduHack 2021 Global Award winning teams will receive their awards and will be invited to pitch their solution to Mariya Gabriel, the European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, during a high-level Awarding ceremony in 2022.

All DigiEduHack 2021 participants will get a blockchain-based certificate that can be integrated into a LinkedIn profile. And there's more: some of our challenges have their own, additional rewards and prizes. Check the list and join!
